One Pot Sausage Jambalaya

A delicious meal doesn't mean lots of dirty dishes.

When Laura is feeling homesick, she whips up a batch of her favorite One Pot Sausage Jambalaya. There is nothing better than walking into your house and smelling good ol’ fashion cookin’.

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups Laura’s Farm Premium Long Grain Rice
  • 2 pounds sausage, cut into 1/4-1/2 inch thick pieces
  • 1/2 package onion soup mix
  • Laura’s Bayou Blend to taste
  • 3 cups water


Instructions

  1. Fry Sausage

    • In a medium-large dutch oven over medium-high heat, fry sausage. Remove any excess grease.
  2. Stir in flavor

    • Add 1 cup water to dutch oven. Stir in onion soup mix and Laura’s Farm Cajun Seasoning, to taste. Let simmer for 30-45 minutes.
  3. Cook

    • Add rice and 2 more cups of water. Cook approximately 30 minutes or until rice is done.
  4. Enjoy

    • Serve warm with any toppings of your choice.
