Gluten-Free, Vegan, Vegetarian, Dairy-Free


  • 1 cup Laura’s Farm Premium Long Grain White Rice
  • 2 cups water or chicken stock or vegetable stock
  • 2 teaspoons oil
  • Pinch of salt
  • 3 tablespoons lime juice, freshly squeezed
  • Zest of 1 lime
  • 1 cup cilantro leaves, finely chopped
  • 1 tablespoon butter (optional but highly recommended)


  1. Saute rice in oil

    • In a medium-large pot, over medium-high heat, saute the rice in oil for a few minutes.
  2. Cook

    • Add in water or stock and bring to a boil.
    • Once liquid boils, turn temperature down to a simmer. Cover and cook on simmer for 10-12 minutes.
  3. Fluff in flavor

    • Add in lime juice, lime zest, cilantro, and butter. Gently fluff with fork or large spoon.
  4. Serve

    • Serve as a side dish with your next meal.
    • Add to tacos or burritos for a fresh new flavor.
